CEO of Empower Health and Fitness

As a Physician Assistant, I struggled with my fitness journey despite my medical knowledge. Hiring a fitness coach transformed my life, teaching me how to maintain health amidst a hectic schedule. Inspired, I founded JennyJeanFitness, LLC in 2015, which has evolved into Empower Health and Fitness, LLC.

Now leading a team of six, our mission is to empower others to take control of their lives, fostering confidence and strength for a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I hold a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, a Master's as a Physician Assistant, and am a NASM-certified Personal Trainer, with experience in sports medicine, spine/orthopedics, pain management, and wound care.

This realization ignited my passion for helping others achieve their goals, regain confidence, and live their best lives by redefining their relationship with food.

Assistant Coach 

Hi, I'm Rachel from Kentucky! With a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University and over five years as an Addiction Counselor, I've helped hundreds change their lives through behavior and mindset development.

 

After losing my dad to a heart attack, I turned to fitness, becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. I realized many coaching programs lack the support needed for lasting change, inspiring me to offer more comprehensive guidance. My approach is collaborative, focusing on overcoming personal barriers and creating balanced, guilt-free lifestyles. Let's create a sustainable plan that allows you to enjoy life while meeting your goals.

Hi, I'm Lexie from Littleton, Colorado! I earned my Master's in Health & Exercise Science with a concentration in nutrition from Concordia University Chicago. My fitness passion blossomed in college, supported by a strong community.

 

I've explored various training styles, including calisthenics, HIIT, and weight training, and focus on sustainable, enjoyable fitness journeys for my clients. I’m a people person and your biggest cheerleader, offering tailored guidance and support. I thrive on building personalized relationships and am eager to help you on your unique fitness journey.

From owning fitness studios to competing in bodybuilding and CrossFit, I've proven that medical labels don't define capability. Hi, I'm Lori!

Assistant Coach

At 48, my path to becoming a personal trainer diverged from the norm. Initially inactive and cautious of heavy lifting due to fears of bulking up, my journey was further complicated by Crohn's Disease and menopause.

 

These challenges initially led me to avoid exercise, but menopause prompted me to regain control, sparking a passion for fitness. This interest grew into a career as I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutritional Coach.

 

However, my passion briefly turned into an unhealthy obsession with under-eating, which I overcame with the help of a coach.

 

Now, I’m dedicated to doing fitness right, enjoying abundant energy and happiness. As a coach, I aim to assist others who are frustrated by unsustainable fad diets and fitness regimes, or those confused by bodily changes during menopause. I want to make their fitness journey sustainable and enlightening.

Hey, I'm Rae, a lifelong athlete from Texas, now an ICU nurse and assistant coach, soon moving to Fort Myers for Nurse Anesthesia school.

 

My love for fitness started with weightlifting in college, leading me to a second bachelor’s in Health and Exercise Science and currently pursuing a nutrition certification. When I'm not working or at the gym, I enjoy outdoor activities, spending time with loved ones, and enjoying good food.

 

With a foot in both the medical and fitness worlds, I'm passionate about preventive care and the power of a positive mindset. I believe you are enough and worthy of your dreams. My mission is to boost your gym confidence and independence. I'm excited to help ignite your passion for achieving your goals!

Hi, I'm Michelle!

Assistant Coach

Hi, I'm Michelle! With a bachelor's in athletic training and 11 years of experience working with athletes, I also hold a degree as a physical therapist assistant and am NASM nutrition certified.

 

My journey began in college with weightlifting and CrossFit, where I initially focused more on working out hard than on proper nutrition. After struggling with knee injuries and dealing with a hectic schedule of varying shifts, I learned the importance of preparation for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Disappointed with standard meal plans, I turned to an online personal training company similar to Empower.

 

Over the last five years, I've immersed myself in learning to fuel my body effectively, building the muscle and shape I'm proud of today. I'm passionate about helping others gain confidence, build lifelong habits, and transform their lives through health and fitness.

I can really see the muscle definition in my arms when I'm working out. I have also noticed a lot more back muscle! I love seeing the progress in the gym and in pictures!

My waist feels so small! This is something I've never experienced. 

My jeans that my boyfriend shrunk in the dryer last year fit now, so that's pretty cool! They were my favorites and like $100 😂  so now I don't have to buy new ones!

Ordered a new workout outfit and it fit like a glove. Looked exactly like the picture online so that was badass. Discovered that new workout outfits give me more motivation to go to the gym! (Very girly of me I know 😂)

Using the recipe builder so I can pretty much eat whatever I make for my family is awesome I really can't believe how much food I get to eat. 

I've been eating more and being able to keep up my protein as well as eat enough fats and carbs. Even though I'm eating more I can still see a change in shape!

Fit into another TWO pairs of scrub pants that didn't even fit a few months ago! Got a pair on that wouldn't even go over my hips over the summer! And the booty looked AMAZING in them! 🥰🙌

My coworker told me my waistline looked slimmer and I agree with her! My posture has improved greatly that sitting up straight is no longer a struggle!
