CEO of Empower Health and Fitness
As a Physician Assistant, I struggled with my fitness journey despite my medical knowledge. Hiring a fitness coach transformed my life, teaching me how to maintain health amidst a hectic schedule. Inspired, I founded JennyJeanFitness, LLC in 2015, which has evolved into Empower Health and Fitness, LLC.
Now leading a team of six, our mission is to empower others to take control of their lives, fostering confidence and strength for a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I hold a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences, a Master's as a Physician Assistant, and am a NASM-certified Personal Trainer, with experience in sports medicine, spine/orthopedics, pain management, and wound care.

Hi, I'm Rachel from Kentucky! With a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Eastern Kentucky University and over five years as an Addiction Counselor, I've helped hundreds change their lives through behavior and mindset development.
After losing my dad to a heart attack, I turned to fitness, becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach. I realized many coaching programs lack the support needed for lasting change, inspiring me to offer more comprehensive guidance. My approach is collaborative, focusing on overcoming personal barriers and creating balanced, guilt-free lifestyles. At 48, my path to becoming a personal trainer diverged from the norm. Initially inactive and cautious of heavy lifting due to fears of bulking up, my journey was further complicated by Crohn's Disease and menopause.
These challenges initially led me to avoid exercise, but menopause prompted me to regain control, sparking a passion for fitness. This interest grew into a career as I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutritional Coach.
However, my passion briefly turned into an unhealthy obsession with under-eating, which I overcame with the help of a coach.
Now, I’m dedicated to doing fitness right, enjoying abundant energy and happiness. As a coach, I aim to assist others who are frustrated by unsustainable fad diets and fitness regimes, or those confused by bodily changes during menopause. I want to make their fitness journey sustainable and enlightening.

Hi, I'm Michelle! With a bachelor's in athletic training and 11 years of experience working with athletes, I also hold a degree as a physical therapist assistant and am NASM nutrition certified.
My journey began in college with weightlifting and CrossFit, where I initially focused more on working out hard than on proper nutrition. After struggling with knee injuries and dealing with a hectic schedule of varying shifts, I learned the importance of preparation for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Disappointed with standard meal plans, I turned to an online personal training company similar to Empower.
Over the last five years, I've immersed myself in learning to fuel my body effectively, building the muscle and shape I'm proud of today. I'm passionate about helping others gain confidence, build lifelong habits, and transform their lives through health and fitness.

I started Coaching after years of owning & operating my own Accounting Business.
I struggled with weight loss trying to balance work, family, and fitness. I struggled with restrictive diets, only losing 1-2 lbs by not eating or not
eating "real" food, feeling exhausted and then gaining it all back and more. I was frustrated. It was a continual cycle of fad diets, lack of energy and
hours and hours of cardio. I discovered a passion for nutrition and strength training through my own journey! I stopped being frustrated!
I learned how to properly eat to fuel my body. I learned how to train for strength, and reduce the excess cardio and hours at the gym.
I learned by using simple habits that make it achievable to keep fat off and still have a balanced lifestyle.
I want to help women lose fat and keep it off without using restrictive fad diets or only doing hours and hours of cardio. I want to help women redefine
what's "healthy" and finally create long term,sustainable changes. Together, let's work to help you achieve success!!
