For years as a Physician Assistant, I struggled with my fitness journey. Even though I was in the medical field and "had all the knowledge", I had no idea how to apply it with the busy life I was living.
One of the best decisions I ever made was hiring a nutrition and fitness coach. He helped me learn how to live a healthy life even with my insane schedule, and I knew right then that I wanted to share everything I had learned with other healthcare professionals as well.
I started out in alone in 2015 as jennyjeanfitness, LLC. Today have grown and morphed into Empower Health and Fitness. LLC an amazing team of 6!!! to help individuals become their absolute best selves.
Our mission is to help others take control of their lives by establishing the confidence and strength to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle they are proud of.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Masters in Physician Assistant, and am a NASM certified Personal Trainer. I have a background in Sports medicine, spine/orthopedics, pain management and wound care.

Hi! I’m Meghan! I’m a native to Denver, CO & I am SO excited to be part of the Empower team & community.
My fitness journey started about 6 years ago after graduating college. I had gained the typical college weight & had completely lost any confidence I once had.
I hired my first fitness & nutrition coach and continued to work with different coaches over the course of the next 5 years.
After years of working with different coaches myself, I found that very few coaches take the time to educate their clients & most importantly set them up for success after their program.
And here we are! I’ve found this incredible passion for helping others achieve their goals, rediscover their confidence and live their best lives all through redefining their relationship with food.

Hey! I’m Rachel!
Very proud to call Kentucky my home, where I also received my formal education at Eastern Kentucky University. I have a Bachelor’s in Social Work with 5+ years experience as an Addiction Counselor. During my career, I helped hundreds of clients successfully change their lives through behavior, mindset, and lifestyle habit development.
I never imagined I would become a personal trainer or nutrition coach! After losing my dad to a massive heart attack in his 50's (way too young), I knew I had to get serious about my health. A few years ago, I hired a fitness coach myself and that decision lead me here today. While I did learn from my coach at the time, I quickly realized that coaching doesn’t always provide the support, guidance, education, and community that many people need to establish real and lasting changes. It was clear to me that I could be the person to provide that help to others in a different capacity than counseling. I am a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM, as well as a Certified Nutrition Coach through NASM. I also hold an OFNC (Online Fitness & Nutrition Coaching Certification) credential.
My approach is very collaborative with clients. We are a team with the same goal: To help you crush your goals! I think many clients can easily fall into the trap of limiting beliefs about themselves, or comparison to others, when they are struggling to make lasting changes. I feel strongly about understanding my clients on an individual level to be able to provide them with the tools they need to hit the finish line.
I love to support clients in helping them create a healthy lifestyle balance without restriction. You CAN be the person who enjoys Mimosas at Sunday brunch and still hit your nutrition goals without guilt. Let’s work on a plan that will stick for you this time. I'm ready when you are!

I started Coaching after years of owning & operating my own Accounting Business.
I struggled with weight loss trying to balance work, family, and fitness. I struggled with restrictive diets, only losing 1-2 lbs by not eating or not
eating "real" food, feeling exhausted and then gaining it all back and more. I was frustrated. It was a continual cycle of fad diets, lack of energy and
hours and hours of cardio. I discovered a passion for nutrition and strength training through my own journey! I stopped being frustrated!
I learned how to properly eat to fuel my body. I learned how to train for strength, and reduce the excess cardio and hours at the gym.
I learned by using simple habits that make it achievable to keep fat off and still have a balanced lifestyle.
I want to help women lose fat and keep it off without using restrictive fad diets or only doing hours and hours of cardio. I want to help women redefine
what's "healthy" and finally create long term,sustainable changes. Together, let's work to help you achieve success!!

Hi I am Izzy (Isilda) a Women’s specialized Personal Trainer who is trained in Health Coaching and Nutrition and runs her own health shops in a tiny country in Africa😊
I was diagnosed with multiple autoimmune diseases when I was 15 and at that point knew my life needed to change. It was a blessing in disguise, and I haven’t looked back since.
I not only hired coaches to help me on my journey but I realized I wanted to learn so much more and help other women thrive the way I finally was! I have been in remission for around 10 years now and I continue to get stronger daily. From running my own fitness studios to participating in bodybuilding shows, CrossFit competitions, multiple fitness photoshoots and more. I just needed to prove that I could, medical labels or not. I know you can too.

I have had Crohn’s Disease for the last 12 years and to add to that fun, I am also in Menopause. Over the years, I think that I used my disease as an excuse not to be active. When Menopause hit, I needed to try and take some control back over my body that I felt like was completely against me. I started to get interested in fitness. That interest turned into a love of fitness, and I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutritional Coach.
My love for fitness started to become an unhealthy obsession, eating less than 1000 calories per day. I know I needed help and I invested in a coach myself!
I was determined and do things the “right way” for the first time in my 48 years in terms of fitness.
My life was transformed! I have learned how to properly train, fuel my body, I have a ton of energy and just am an overall happier!
My hope as a Coach is to help anyone that is struggling or frustrated with their fitness journey, have tried every “fad diet” or endless hours exercising only to have some success and then be embarrassed when you stop or gain weight because it was not sustainable, anyone who is going through that “change in life” and has no idea what is happening to your body and your old tricks to lose weight are not working.

Hi! I’m Michelle! I am so glad you are here!
I have my bachelors in athletic training and have been working with athletes over the last 11 years where I prevent, diagnose and treat athletic injuries. I also earned my physical therapist assistant degree to better help others with rehabilitation. I have a passion for stability, mobility and weight training.
Having worked in a variety of settings, I know the importance of taking care of your body for sport, everyday life and the long run. I knew how to help others when they were injured, but I wanted to know more about how to fuel your body. I chose to become NASM nutrition certified because I wanted the knowledge for myself and so I could help others learn about nutrition.
My fitness journey has been a rollercoaster! I remember after college learning about weight lifting and enjoying the competitiveness of crossfit classes. I understood the basics of nutrition, I but chose to “workout harder” rather than learn more about how to fuel my body. I was strong, but I wanted all my hard work and muscles to show! I also struggled with knee injuries and wanted to take weight off my joints to move better.
Living a hectic life with changing schedules—morning shifts, evening shifts, 12 hour shifts, I have had to learn how to prepare for the unexpected. Living a healthy lifestyle is possible with preparation, tools and guidance.
After several personal trainers prescribing me a “meal plan”, which I could not stick with (shocker), I found an online personal training company just like Empower. Over the last 5 years, I have immersed myself in learning about how to properly fuel my body for my workouts and my everyday life. I am now so proud of the muscles and shape I have quite literally built over the last 10 years.
I have a passion for health and fitness. I enjoy seeing others gain confidence in the gym, build lifelong habits and literally change their lives.
